The person and the context
We first define the questions the report needs to answer. Depending on the engagement, the analysis brings together interviews, records, psychological instruments and other available sources, linking the findings to the conclusions.
Expert reports, report reviews and testimony
An expert report addresses its own referral question. A review examines another report, its sources, methods and reasoning. Expert testimony provides an opportunity to explain the work and answer questions in proceedings.
Madrid and international matters
We consider engagements in Madrid and matters connected with Miami through international forensic consulting. In-person or remote arrangements depend on the question, the available sources and the requirements of the proceedings.
Before we begin
Common questions.
Is this therapy?
The assessment is undertaken for expert purposes and responds to questions in a legal matter. Psychotherapy is outside the engagement.
Is a personal interview always required?
This depends on the question. A documentary review may examine an existing report. Conclusions about a person must remain within what the available sources and actual assessment can support.
